My hands were horribly dry... I got a humidifier & Eucerin dry skin lotion that a dermatologist recommended. Works great!

Try NOT using any 'soap' to clean your face ... simply 'scrub' with plain hot water and a 'good washrag' and 'rinse' in three 'cool, cooler, coolest' rinses with either the 'rag' or just splash it on. Do NOT use any 'make-up' or any 'lotions or potions' on your face. I've done this since I was 14 ... I'm now '56 but have the 'face' of a thirty-five year old woman with 'perfect skin' ... NO SOAP. You may use a 'face cleaning solution' on your face 'occasionally' but never more than one time a month ... if you have 'extremely sensitive, dry skin' you are actually 'drying it out more' even if you use a 'moisturizing soap' ...

I have a sensitive face too. But, fortunately, I know what to use. Try natural products with organic ingredients in them. Use lotions that have only a small amount of fragrance. Too much fragrance with make your face red and steamy feeling. If you put lotion on your face, check to make sure that it's BODY lotion. Hand lotion is more intense and will make your face pinkish-red. When you wash your face, put a smidge of lotion on afterwards because water can make your face even drier.

Your skin may be sensitive from all the chemicals in the skin care products that you're using. Try natural products instead, you'll notice huge results. Try L'Bri Pure n' Natural, it uses Aloe as the first ingredient and is loaded with vitamins, minerals, herbs and botanicals. No harsh chemicals, no drying alcohols, no synthetic oils, no added colors or fragrances, everything is in it's most natural state. It will penetrate into your skin and heal and hydrate your skin from the inside, out. Check it out at suenelson.lbri.com.

There are alot of products you could use for dry/sensitive skin. The Vanicream line is ones for people with eczema, it works pretty well. Also, instead of using liquid soaps, use Dove white which is 1/4 moisturizing lotion. You should also use laundry soap which is free of perfumes and dyes that might help with otehr sensitive areas of the body.

A company called Carley's Clear & Smooth makes excellent daytime and nightime moisturizers and lotion. www.clearandsmoothskin.com. Reasonably priced (under $20)and natural ingredients. They offer their stuff on eBay as well. Their SLS-free soap is a personal favorite at my house and they send a free bar with your order.

My FAVORITE moisturizer is from Principal Secret. From her advanced line. It stays with you all day long. I have used tons of others and 2 hours later feel like I need to put it on again! The whole line is great, the cleanser is wonderful. She has different lines for different ages. Look online at Principal Secret.

Try a cream/lotion called Cetaphil. It's made especailly for sensative skin. Also, you could try Lubriderm, which comes in a sensative-skin version.
