1.) Acknowledge that you have sinned against God.

2.) Believe and have faith that God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of all sin.

3.) Confess with your mouth AND believe in your heart that Jesus is the way, truth, and the life. He is the door and key to heaven.

4.) Repent of all your sins you have committed against God.

5.) Ask God to forgive you and ask Him to come into your heart in the name of the Son. Ask for Him to send the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.

6.) Acknowledge before others The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is usually where water baptism comes in. Your public acknowledgment of God. (So the Son may acknowledge you before God) God responds by sending the Holy Spirit to you. You have to confess with your mouth AND believe in your heart. God reads hearts and minds. This is important because you cannot become saved without the Holy Spirit.

6.) Read His word, pray to Him for guidance. Turn from sin. Do all you can to be pleasing to God.

7.) God sends His Holy Spirit to His children that truly believe in Him with all their heart. This is the moment you become saved...When God replies to a true repentant and believing heart by sending His Holy Spirit. This is God residing within the heart of a believer.

8.) You know when you have the Holy Spirit because you are transformed from the inside out. You are born-again and become a new creature with new thoughts. All that you do is to be pleasing to God. You recognize your sin and others sin. All sin against God hurts you terribly.

9.) Repent of your sin and put your trust in the Lord. Read the Bible daily, pray to God daily, and spread His word daily. This is how we strengthen and grow in faith. Give all glory, honor, and praise to God as He alone is worthy of your love.

10.) Prepare yourself for the spiritual attacks a believer in Christ will face daily. You will be attacked by satan....just prepare yourself in Christ. Be ready. Just know that God resides within His children. God is our protector; call on Him.

You must first believe that you are a sinner , The Bible says that All have sinned and come short of the glory of God. That means that I , you everyone has sinned .

The Bible also says by grace are you saved through faith grace ( of God ) not of works ( anything good I could do ) . In John 3:16 says For God so loved the world ( you ) that he gave his only son ( Jesus ) that whoever believe in me , should not perish but have everlasting life .( With him in heaven forever)

You need to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins , and believe that what he did on the cross will save you . Simply bow your head and believe in your heart . Here is a prayer you can use .

Dear Jesus I know I have done things that would be considered sins , I am asking you to forgive me of them and asking you to come into my heart and help me to follow you. In Jesus name Amen

Then pray Jesus I'm asking you to guide me to a place were I can grow and follow you. In Jesus name amen

If you are serious about devoting your life to Christ you need to find a church that will teach you to grow. I will be praying for you.

you should talk with some people about it. Some christians are gunnu say go to church read the bible and pray a lot but thats not really gunnu help you if you dont really understand it. The reason for doing these things is becuase it strengthens your faith. Just going to church isnt enough. Its not a big responsibility or anything, being a christian but its serious. Try to build a good relationship with God and learn more about the christian faith. Maybe you could make arrangemnent with preists or religous leaders that you could talk with.

First, read the new testament and decide if you are willing to follow christ....the bible will tell you everything you need to know on the issue

Luke 14

25Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: 26"If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple. 27And anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple.

28"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Will he not first sit down and estimate the cost to see if he has enough money to complete it? 29For if he lays the foundation and is not able to finish it, everyone who sees it will ridicule him, 30saying, 'This fellow began to build and was not able to finish.'

31"Or suppose a king is about to go to war against another king. Will he not first sit down and consider whether he is able with ten thousand men to oppose the one coming against him with twenty thousand? 32If he is not able, he will send a delegation while the other is still a long way off and will ask for terms of peace. 33In the same way, any of you who does not give up everything he has cannot be my disciple.

We must acknowledge God as the Creator of everything, accepting our position in God's created order and purpose. Romans 1:20-21:
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened."

2. We must realize that we are sinners and that we need forgiveness. None of us are worthy under God’s standards. Romans 3:23:

“For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.”

3. God gave us the way to be forgiven of our sins. He showed us His love by giving us the potential for life through the death of His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8:

“But God demonstrates His love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

4. If we remain sinners, we will die. However, if we repent of our sins, and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will have eternal life. Romans 6:23:

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

5. Confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you are saved. Romans 10:9-10:

“That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

6. There are no other religious formulas or rituals. Just call upon the name of the Lord and you will be saved! Romans 10:13:

“For whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”

7. Determine in your heart to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life today. Romans 11:36:

"For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen."

1. I must realize that in my present condition I am a sinner before God. "All have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3.23.)
2. I cannot save myself from eternal punishment in hell "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord: (Romans 6:23)
3. Christ has paid for my sins and my punishment with His death on the cross. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him (Jesus should not perish, but have everlasting life: "(John 3:16)
4. I must accept His crucifixion as payment for my sins, personally. "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13)
If you would like to have assurance of eternal life, then pray this prayer: "Lord, I know I am a sinner. I believe Your Son, Jesus Christ, died on the cross for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins and make me a new person. I commit my life to you today. Amen,"
If you prayed this prayer you can send for Dr. Stanley's booklet, "The Only Door to Heaven." www.intouch.org.
When you are saved, you are sealed with God's Holy Spirit for eternity. You cannot loose your salvation because you are now adopted into the family of God.
It is important to find a bible teaching church and become part of the body of Christ to help you grow in your walk with the Lord. Read the Bible daily.

Read John 3:16 and put your name in the verse. God died for you. You are special to God. You can have a relationship with your Heavenly Father. Just except His gift of salvation that was given to us when Jesus died on the cross for all of our sins, past, present and future. Jesus was the lamb that was sacrified for our sins so we could get back to God. Find a good church where you can learn and be feed the word of God. Pray. When I was a new Christian, I didn't know how to pray. I didn't know to pray to God, to Jesus or the Holy Spirit. They are all one. Prayer should be (1) Praising God for Who His Is (2) Thanking God for what he's done (3) Asking forgiveness of where we need to be forgiven (4) Praying for others and Praise for answered prayers (5) Prayer for ourselves last-yes, God does want us to ask for things from him and if we are in His Will he gladly gives us what we trully need. Last, surround yourself with God's people that can love you and help you grow in the Family Of God.
