Run cold water over it until it stops burning. Use Aloe Vera Gel or Honey on it. Aloe Vera heals burns. Honey stops infections and will help the burn heal without scarring.

well if you have a blister leave it be. don't put any spray or cream or butter on it .
soak the finger in clean cold water still water. you can add some ice cubes if you want.
if it is broken or looks sore awful then cover it loosely with sterile gaze . '
later if your still having pain and it is not broken but is more along the lines of a sunburn bad one then you can put a cap of white vinegar in clean cool water and soak it in there.
that is about all a person can or should do unless told to do otherwise by the physician.

Dress the wound with a healthy amount of triple antibiotic ointment and cover with a petroleum-impregnated gauze (if you can get it) like Xeroform. Then cover this with dry gauze and change it daily. If the wound starts hurting less and heals, you may not need a doctor, but if there is any doubt seeing a burn doctor is your safest bet.

Ice to take the heat out and stop the "cooking" process. Do NOT use butter, you will blister. Apply Neosporin and a bandaid for the first day or two then leave it open to dry and heal.
