In my office I often run into pregnant women who have common colds or stomach flu. (I work an Urgent Care Center). The problem is that because you are pregnant there is only a few medications that can be given to you. In your situation it is important to keep your fluids up...you do not want to dehydradrate. There is some prescription meds for nausea....and we would give them if there is danger of dehydration from not being able to keep fluids down. Keep to clear liquids untill vomiting stops. Then I recommend the 'BRAT' diet : bananas, rice, applesauce, and toast. They are starting foods that are easy on the stomach. If you start running a fever or if pain develops in you stomach...get to your healthcare provider or the ER.

There isn't much you can do except get plenty of rest and lots of liquids. I had it with my second child and it was awful, I thought I was going to die. If you can't keep anything down, not even water, let your doctor know. They will prescribe you anti-nausea medication. I hope you have insurance because it is REALLY expensive. I was so worried that I would vomit as soon as the tablet touched my tongue but amazingly it really helped and I felt better after taking it. I was so weak from not eating and being dehydrated that it made me feel worse then the actual bug normally would have.
I feel for you, get lots of sleep and lots of fluid. Good Luck!

Would you believe the best answer is SEE A DOCTOR!!! Don't forget that many OTC remedies can be harmful to an unborn child. If you have an ObGyn, call him/her. If not, go to a clinic. Where we might just "ride it out" under normal circumstances, during pregnancy your body needs help. The dizziness would concern me the most. You could be hypertensive, and that would definitely need to be monitored/treated by the doc.
