Using Clairol Herbal Essences...and I would be SOOO careful not to get into my eyes!!!

even if you do not get it in your eyes, the fumes so close to the eyes can be just as dangerous. do not chance it! salons will do it for a reasonable price with a product that is actually designed to be safe for use on facial hair. beauty schools are a great inexpensive way to go, too

It's really not a good idea to use any kinda of dye around your eyes, you run the risk of either getting a serious eye infection or going blind. I suggest going to a salon and asking a professional. Or go to any drug or beauty store and look for eyebrow powder. I use an herbal brow powder that I buy from Sally's, and it looks so natural. You can buy it in blonde, brunette, red, or black. It comes in a kit complete with two stencils and a really nice angle brush. Btw, nice avatar! She's stylin!

You can use hair colour on your eyebrows,apply with a Q-tip but be VERY careful not to get it in your eyes, if this happens flush immediately with cold water until the pain goes away!! You may not like the results of the colour though,if your brows are dark brown, a store bought colour is usually only 20 volume peroxide which will only lift 2 levels,resulting in a gold/orange tone.

Do not use Hair dye to colour your brows, it is not recommended that you use them, the hair on your head is different to your eyebrows for starters and using strong chemicals that close to your eyes is not good either especially if you get it in your eyes, it will require medical attention, their are specific products that are designed to be used on your eyebrows, which is what you should use instead.

When I get my hair colored at the salon, I ask them to also do my eyebrows. It is the same dye they use on my hair. Apply Vaseline on skin around eyebrows so that color does not get on skin. They are very careful.
If you want to lighten your brows, again, go to a salon. There is a product they use to bleach the brows, but you must NEVER get anything in your eyes. You could damage them very badly.

If your extremely careful not to get it into your eyes...nothing will happen. Only leave the color on the brows for 10 minutes TOPS! Your eyebrow hair is coarser and more porous than your scalp hair and will absorb the color very quickly. They actually do brow color in nicer salons, but I've been doing it myself for years because my eyebrows are VERY light.

You need to be very careful, if it gets in to your eyes, you can get blind. Just apply it with a cutetip and leave for only 10 minutes. Be careful when you rinse, use a damp towel.

i have bleached my eyebrows before. Nothing happened. They also have Facial hair bleach. But as long as you don't get it in your eyes you should be fine

if you dye your eyebrows.. u could lose sight of ur eyes.. i kno someone who tried to dye their eyebrows that were dark into light ones and she lost sight in one of her eyes
