Tuna if a good food diet. Rinse the tuna (it has too much sodium), make sure get it canned in water or bag, not oiled. A little low fat mayo is fine, don't overdue it.
Good diet foods...hmmmm
Hummus with Carrots
Plain Yogurt with blueberries (add a little equal for sweetness - optional)
A yummy fruit salad
Salmon with Spinach and some dressing
Split Pea Soup with toast
Any protein with Stir Fry
Cheese and grapes
So many choices!

I like the South beach diet, which allows both tuna and mayo. But it encourages you to try the low-fat mayo styles.
It's all about "good carbs". YOu eat lots of tuna, fish, chicken, and lean meats, tons of vegetables, and medium amounts of fruits, whole grains. VERY little sugar and bad fats. Olive oil, canola oil are fine, but butter and margarine are not.
