Go with a month. Do the crunches every other day to allow muscle to build.

As long as it takes for you to be able to wear yourself completely out by doing them, and then to notice that you're doing more of them before wearing yourself completely out.

If you're wondering if you can see a six-pack set of abdominal muscles, that takes a lot longer, and depends a lot on how much excess body fat you have lingering around your abdominal area.

Reduce your TOTAL body fat, and by the time you start noticing that you can keep doing crunches all day long without exhausting yourself, you WILL have a six-pack.

About a month if you keep increasing the amount. If you lose weight at the same time, you should see results quicker.
