No. When Jesus walked the earth He was constantly among the people and riding into Jerusalem on a donkey colt. Not exactly as you said never seen or quietly in background - don't think so. He is coming back as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and He will rule with a rod of iron. Need to learn His Word because you will be judged by it.

Jesus might wear a Rolex if someone gave it to him as a gift. He accepted the gift Mary of Bethany gave him when she poured expensive perfume on his head six days before his crucifixion. When the others criticized her for being so wasteful--the perfume was worth a year's wages--Jesus said, "Leave her alone. She has done a beautiful thing to me."
I don't think Jesus would seek to buy a Rolex for himself as a status symbol to show off his worth.
And yes, I'm familiar with the song! Great song, too.

Jesus worked among the poor people and a person like Him is very compasionate. He would rather feed the poor than wear a rolex watch.

I think he would wear a platinum grill and he'd have a whole bunch of gold chains and a couple of gold rings. Oh yeah, don't forget the cane and the big hat with a huge feather on the side.

I think this is a silly question posed by a silly person phrophets such as Jesus saw the problems between the have and have-not and realised that equality between all was the answer to all problems.like marks and all socialists he realised that people have needs such as food and shelter,and that the only way to achieve this was by the people sharing the earths riches .such as water.food and energy.but unlike radical clerics.He saw the way by peacefull means.may your god be with You.
