got my first boyfriend but there are awkward silences.?

i dont want to play 20 questions with him, and ask him all about his favorite things to do, or where he likes to hang out ect. i want to really talk to him. what should i say
ps. im olny in middle school

1. guys love to talk about themselves

There ya go.break up and get back together in high school. You'll experience more stuff to talk about by then.

There's nothing wrong with asking questions. And, there's nothing wrong with silence sometimes.
