i am in 7th grade and have been going out with my boyfriend for a total of 4 months.. and i have never madeout with anyone before. am i ready?? he tells me he wants to but i really dont know how. i want to but i'm afraid of being judged. what do i do?

heh heh. wow... um, i'm not going to pretend to be an expert on this stuff, cause i'm four years older then you and i've only had this experience recently... but uh, i'm kinda suprised you guys haven't done anything at all in the span of like, four months... sigh. anyway, just try and go with the flow. but don't let him do things your not ready for. if he starts going to fast, make him stop. and if he doesn't, then just get up and walk away. i'm really not one for making out, i'm more of a cuddly, little-kisses kinda girl, but it's not that bad. you might get butterflies, but believe me sweetie, that's normal. just go with what you feel and you'll be fine. ;) good luck.

CHILDREN in 7th grade dont even know what it is to love someone, and if you're asking this question, you're obviously VERY FAR from ready to make out. Dont do it...save your first kiss for someone in the future, because trust me, there will be MUCH better people in a few years that will deserve it a lot more. Psh...7th grade. Little babies kissing, and going online to ask how to do it. Cute.

it sounds like ur not ready if u have questions u might want to wait a lil while longer till YOU are able to answer them urself. and if ur afraid he will judge u then he may not be worth making out with.

Your too young to make out. Wait until your in high school. And to answer your question it takes about two to five minutes from lips on to lips off.

dude i hav the same problem!!! lol! only i guess not anymore since i was @ the school dance the day after my boyfriend broke up with me and this kid i like asked me out and i said yes and then he was dancing with me and we kissed and sort of made out ... for a few seconds. my other friend made out for like six seconds cuz there were ppl watching her so she stopped (same reason i did) but id say just sort of go with it and um, stop to breathe haha...jk, u breathe thru your nose!
