I have this camera
http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/specs/Kodak/kodak_z650.asp

I am going to attempt some stop motion photography with it. The only thing is that to take the picture I must press the button - which runs the risk of moving the camera and messing up the shot. I need a way to remote control this camera to take a picture without touching it. It does not have a remote control. Any ideas?

yes- even a tripod will allow the camera to move from one frame to the next. The act of touching the camera- even to set the timer, can move it ever so slightly, and ruin the effect.
I need a way to take picture after picture without touching it.
The only thing I can think of is to set the thing to keep clicking, eating up pictures whether I am ready or not, just to allow it to take pictures without me touching them.

**sigh**
I fear there is no answer.....

I can't help you find the remote for your camera, but you can use time to do that. Of course you need a tripod. I always use timer when I forgot my remote control.

I did some search, and I don't think there is any remote control for your camera. The www.dpreview.com web also says no remote for that camera.

Now you really need a stable and heavy tripod. Use the tripod that weights at least 6 pounds. It will help to prevent motion.

Use a tripod, and set the camera to a high shutter speed and ISO and your pictures should come out pretty good. There is nothing you can buy as a remote, but using a tripod will greatly help.
