I am 13 and I weight 125lbs and I am only 4'11! I am a size 12 and I want to get down to weigh AT LEAST 105lbs by the end of March. I hate my body and I get so depressed when this skinny girl calls me fatty. I have even tried purging once because I am so desperate! And I don't want a diet!

I think it's ok to want to lose weight, but it should never be done quickly because it will affect your health and you will most likely gain more back once you stop the diet. The best way to lose weight is to start a exercise program ( at least 30 mins day) and cut your calories down to about 1200 to 1400 a day making sure they are coming from healthy foods, like lowfat meats, whole grains and fruits and veggies. If you do this you should safely lose 2-5 lbs a week.

I know how you feel. I have been chubby my whole life, and I have finally found a way to start losing weight, and I'm lazy!!
I joined www.weightwatchers.com
I still eat the food i like ( I like my desserts!). I just keep track of what I'm eating. I have found it impossible to lose weight in the past. Try this plan out for 1 month. I have already lost 8lbs, I lost 4lbs my first week!!!,and I can tell you tons more success stories of family who are on this.
Give it a try.
And as well by giving yourself a deadline it puts too much pressure on yourself, and you just won't lose the weight.
But I wish you luck on whatever you decide!

Okay hon, just sit tight. Do not even try a crash diet. People who say mean and hurtful things about other people are usually self concious about their own selves. It dosen't even have to be physical, its probably something mental, somebody said or did something degrading to them at a point in their life. Have you talked to your parents about it? At least they could try and help you. If you want to do it on your own, without a strict diet, I would suggest alot and I mean alot of exercise. Try to find something that you like. Biking, running, walking, skateboarding, basketball ,soccer, ect, I wouldn't gaurantee that you are going to lose 20lbs wieght by the end of march, but at least enough to get you somewhere. Whatever you do don't take a drastic change like alot of young people do now a days. Pills, liquid diets, lack in food comsumption, over excercise, ect., it may work temorarily, but the outcome over time is going to affect you. Your body is in a state of growth and it needs the proper nutrients in order to grow....so whatever you do, don't starve your self please! Just go the healthy route, eat healthy foods, junk food in small portions(at some appointed time in the week, but try to avoid otherwise),and exercise as much as you can an hour and thirty minutes if possible. Just make sure to stick with it!

Good luck!

You don't necessarily have to 'diet' but eat sensibly and drink an adequate amount of water.

Try some type of cardiovascular exercise. Walking/elliptical trainers/treadmills basically anything to get the heart rate up.

It'll be tough to drop 20 lbs. in that amount of time but by eating sensibly and exercising it should be attainable.

Never, ever purge. People can be very cruel and it's not worth it.

Just believe in yourself, have a picture of what you want to be in your mind and use that to motivate yourself.

You can do it!!!

Good luck.

try running hard ten minutes a day, every day. after a week, 15 minutes aday, after another week 20, etc. dont do more than say an hour a day, and dont increase the time too fast-you wont feel good. Also, try healthier snacks. less would be better, but if you dont want to do that then eat granola bars instead of chocolate-they are still pretty good.

purging=bad don't do it. it will lead to bulimia and that is a very serious condition that you should never have to have. to lose weight the healthiest way is to eat healthily and exercise at least half an hour a day. don't strave yourself or purge because those methods are very unhealthy. drink water instead of soft drinks. whole wheat instead of white breads. no eating in between meals. eat sweets sparingly

I bet you are beautiful. First of all you probably still have some "babyfat". The only way to rid yourself of a few extra pounds is to get some additional physical exercise. Go skating, turn the music on in your room and dance until you work up a good sweat. Cut back on sugars.

exorcise, join sports clubs, go out for walks, take some friends for a walk and have a picnic on a hill

dont force yourself to throw up, this is extremely bad for your health

dieting is good, a diet does not mean all health foods, or anything like that which tastes disgusting, it just means keeping controll of what you eat, and dont eat TOO much junk food

The thing that works for me is exercise and diet, but you dont want to diet, but eating right is different than a diet of denial. I do 6 SMALL meals a day, protein, carbs and some fat. I bet that will help you.
