Ephesians 2:15 Through his body on the cross, Christ put an end to the law with all its commands and rules. He wanted to create one new group of people out of the two. He wanted to make peace between them.

On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. The 10 Commandments are the beginning of a vast Law which is called the Holy Covenant. And despite what dude said earlier, Jesus said in Matthew 5 17-20, that He did not come to destroy that Law but to fulfill (pay the price) for that Law. In fact, He took it further to say that if any should break the Least of that Law, and teach another to do so, then that one shall be the least in Heaven. But he that keeps that Law, and teaches another to do so, then the sam shall be called Great in the Kingdom of Heaven.
He finishes up that segment of His sermon by saying that Unless your righteousness excede that of the scribes and pharisees (law makers and priests) then you shall in no case enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
So, if you are truly interested in what they are; go and see for yourself. The Law starts @ Exodus 20 and run all the way through until numbers. So you have Exodus, Leviticus, and Numbers.
If you want to see how things got to be the way they are today; read what moses said to the people in deuteronomy, where he should've repeated the Law God Gave him, but he changed it.
A final warning to you though. Don't let a man tell you what you should do concerning that. For the Law is still in effect. ANYONE that tells you otherwise is not of God, is very unlearned, and wants you to suffer with them. Listen to your Saviour and God.

The Ten Commandments are given in two passages of the Bible
Exodus 20:2-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21
The most common one is always the Exodus one, then God gave them to Moses on mount Sinai
1. "I am the LORD your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, from the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me..."
This commandment is to believe in the existence of God and His influence on events in the world, and that the goal of the redemption from Egypt was to become His servants (Rashi). It prohibits belief in or worship of any additional deities.
2. "Do not make a sculpted image or any likeness of what is in the heavens above..."
This prohibits the construction or fashioning of "idols" in the likeness of created things (beasts, fish, birds, people) and worshipping them.
3. "Do not swear falsely by the name of the LORD..."
This commandment is to never take the name of God in a vain, pointless or insincere oath.
4. "Remember [zachor] the Sabbath day and keep it holy" (the version in Deuteronomy reads shamor, "observe")
The seventh day of the week is termed Sabbath and is holy, just as God ceased creative activity during Creation. The aspect of zachor is performed by declaring the greatness of the day (kiddush), by having three festive meals, and by engaging in Torah study and pleasurable activities. The aspect of shamor is performed by abstaining from productive activity (39 melachot) on the Shabbat.
5. "Honor your father and your mother..."
The obligation to honor one's parents is an obligation that one owes to God and fulfills this obligation through one's actions towards one's parents.
6. "Do not murder"
Murdering a human being is a capital sin.
7. "Do not commit adultery."
Adultery is defined as sexual intercourse between a man and a married woman who is not his wife.
8. "Do not steal."
This is not understood as stealing in the conventional sense, since theft of property is forbidden elsewhere and is not a capital offense. In this context it is to be taken as "do not kidnap."
9. "Do not bear false witness against your neighbor"
One must not bear false witness in a court of law or other proceeding.
10. "Do not covet your neighbor's house"
One is forbidden to desire and plan how one may obtain that which God has given to another. Maimonides makes a distinction in codifying the laws between the instruction given here in Exodus (You shall not covet) and that given in Deuteronomy (You shall not desire), according to which one does not violate the Exodus commandment unless there is a physical action associated with the desire, even if this is legally purchasing an envied object.'

The Ten Commandments are ten laws in the Bible that God gave to the nation of Israel shortly after the exodus from Egypt. The Ten Commandments are essentially a summary of the 600+ commandments contained in the Old Testament Law. The first four commandments deal with our relationship with God. The second six commandments deal with our relationships with one another. The Ten Commandments are recorded in the Bible in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:6-21 and are as follows:

We are not to treat God’s name lightly. We are to show reverence to God by only mentioning Him in respectful and honoring ways.
(4) “Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.” This is a command to set aside the Sabbath (Saturday, the last day of the week) as a day of rest dedicated to the Lord.
(5) “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” This is a command to always treat our parents with honor and respect.
(6) “You shall not murder.” This is a command against the premeditated murder of another human being.
(7) “You shall not commit adultery.” This is a command against have sexual relations with anyone other than your spouse.
(8) “You shall not steal.” This is a command against taking anything that does not belong to us without the permission of the person to whom it belongs.
(9) “You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.” This is a command against testifying against another person falsely. It is essentially a command against lying.
(10) “You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” This is a command against desiring anything that does not belong to you. Coveting can lead to breaking one of the commandments listed above: murder, adultery, and theft. If it is wrong to do something, it is wrong to desire to do that same something.
