while i believe holding hands or a small peck isn't a big deal, whose to say where it stops? a long kiss on the cheek - too much or just fine? a quick peck on the lips - too much or just fine? schools want to avoid dilemas like this (not to mention the fact that the parents might be wholly unsupportive and generally angry at the school for allowing their children to do things they might not even be allowed to do at home) so they just ban PDAs altogether to make their job easier.

If your PDA is to the point where you are making audible noises (aloud) then it is beyond the point of politeness.
There is plenty of time for such activities after school. If they are ALLOWED in school, it would be distracting. Good luck banning it, though. :o)

No. That should be considered almost a sacred act and not something done in public. Holding hands and a soft kiss is probably okay, but it's like they say "get a room."

I think it should be allowed even though it gets kinda gross and cheesy sometimes. But I don't mean like people having sex at school (that happened once in our school bathroom). But like being able to hold hands, make out, etc should be allowed.
