Why do the same people who say the theory of evolution is false use the arguments plucked from it to defenc a position of social darwinism?

Because social Darwinism fits their schemes. People who tell you that society shouldn't help the poor because they should sink or swim on their own use social Darwinism as a reason. They no more understand Darwinism than they understand the Beatitudes. They are hypocrites who will use whatever they have available to defend their selfish positions.

In reality, animals can and do live in cooperative societies. Charity is seen, not just in humans, but in many animal interactions. If anything, evolution seems to favor cooperation over competition.

I defend both. The only problem with social Darwinism is that many people have mis-interpreted it to suppose that it applies to individuals but not societies, which isn't consistent. As for evolution, it's a proven fact.

I just dont buy into how limited science is and it's like that on purpose, it was no mistake

What I notice is that if these "expertise" scientists believe it, they automatically believe it, I fear a great portion do not think for themselves
