If she is only one week along, consider having her spayed. If you don't want to have her spayed, do get her to a vet for a check up, advice on care while pregnant and nursing and advice on problems that could occur that need to be watched for while she is having her kittens.

take her to the vet for a check up, they will even x-ray her to see the size of her litter and to check for any problems. Feed her kitten formula cat food throughout her pregnancy and nursing period to give her enough nutrients to support herself and kittens. Cats have a two month preganancy- about 3-4 weeks before the happy event, gather together a box, line it with newspaper, old towels, your own shirts, etc place it in a nice dark, quiet corner. Keep introducing her to the box frequently so she gets used to it. Labor begins when she gets antsy, listless, odd behavior-really cranky or extra loving-, and straining. She will probably retreat to her kittening box to deliver. Labor can last from a few hours to a whole day. Most cats deliver well with few problems, sometimes they don't want to be comforted during labor, some do. Remember it will be bloody, mucousy, and messy (thats to be expected). Just to be sure, watch for problems, lots of loud yelling, stuck kittens, too much blood etc. (talk to your vet about it). None of my cats have ever had a problem, each birth was amazing to watch and the experience of new life (even in animals) is worth it. Congratulations!

Im not going to tell you how to take care of her during pregnacy as many people have already answered that question, i will just say one thing.. keep a eye on your kitty when she goes into labour as she may have possible birthing problems now im only saying this as my cat molly (yrs ago) had problems delivering them. she was in labour early morning (5:00) she was laying on my bed purring away and cuddling up too me and occasionally i could see a sac protruding and dissapearing. it broke and fluid came out (of course) but no babies .. i had to go to work, but came home just before noon too see the babies and none were born yet , i took her to the vet right away .. anyways they said she could not birth them as her internals (im assuming her birthing canel) was too small. the had to do a c-section her babies lived but had ileft her waitng her and her babies would have died.. im not trying to frighten you but just beware that cats can have birthing issues as well as dogs and people. good luck with your prego kitty give her lots of love!!!

She should have constsnt acess to food, lots of food. You should make her a nesting box. And make sure it has plenty of room but not too much room. Make sure it is away from drafting areas, and put it in a warm dry area, and in a dark spot. Thats pretty much all I can say. =]
