If you were in charge of a group of people that had to complete a job by a certain date, what would you do to make sure that a quality job was done on time?

It would depend on the people involved. Some people like my husband and I work best by ourselves and slow down when we are interrupted and micromanaged too much. That group of people I would try to leave alone, just tell them when the project is due and check in infrequently maybe by email just to let them know of the final date.

Some people work best when they are managed more frequently and motivated by others so I would work more with that group of people. Maybe hold daily, biweekly, or weekly meetings (depending on how long you have for the project), very short, but check on progress and make them accountable to report to the group at that time of their project status.

I would probably also request for the project to be done a day ahead of time so there would be time for the project to be revised if it was not completed correctly and allow time for that.
