Why not turn it around. Why do ladies leave the toilet seat down?

This is one of those things that really gets under my skin. Women need to get over it. I don't want to hear how they "fall in". Women are LAZY about toilet seats. I grew up in a house with 2 brothers. I lived in a Frat house with 30+ men. I have rented houses with men. Guess what? I never fell in. Do you know why? Because I always check the seat before I plant myself on it. Stop being LAZY. If you fall in because you don't have the sense to fall in, not my fault. All that said, I do put the seat down when women are around using the pot.

Who says the default position is down. Most men urinate more that they deficate. So in a mans house, default would be up wouldn't it?

I've never had an argument about that.
However, I do have to remember to put the lid down as our cats will sometimes try to drink out of the toilet.
LOL at everyone falling in! I'm tempted to start leaving the seat up!

If you were a gentle man this would not bother you at all. When girls have to go to the bathroom , we have to go, without having to put the toilet seat down. Besides just put it down less work 4 us girls , doesn't hurt to put down the toilet seat.

okay for one thing it is very disgusting and we have to sit down, not stand unlike you men. also, there is a pretty good chance that we would fall in when the toilet seat is up. okay ask yourself this question: how hard is it to put the toilet seat down after you USE the toilet? it is not hard, just don't forget....

okay,
women have short urethra so we get easily infected.
so toilent seats are very very important to us.
it's not the toilet seat that we are talking about, its those urine drops on the toilet rings that all guys don't care about. Guys don't care because they don't have to seat on it at least 6 times a day!
why can't guys be more thoughtful and understand women in more deeper level?
it's fair to me that stronger people protect weaker people. Guys are lucky that they can stand up and stick out their thing and pee, and also they hardly get bladdar infections because they have long urethra, so why can't you guys give up the toilent seat and help women?

Because the toilet seat looks better down, and it doesn't smell up the place if you put the lid down too.
And it's annoying to have to put it down to sit on the toilet.

We ladies don't like if there is pee all over the toilet. And yes we ladies have to sit on the toilet and guys have to stand up to pee so its not dirty for them. it's dirty for us it's no fear that's why we get really mad when they put seat up we always have to put down, and it's too much work for us.

Because why should we have to touch the toilet seat with our hands when realistically you can just go your business with the seat down. All you have to do is aim properly.

LOL my bf actually closes both the lid and the seat cover...I love it! When I stay over his house, he gets on me for leaving the seat cover up! LOL
I don't mind it though when guys leave the seat up so I don't know what to tell you!
