I've seen a lot of posts saying something to the effect of, "Why can't you see that God is real, just look around you, it's so obvious."
If that is the case then, why does faith alone get you into heaven?
Seems like you don't need faith if it is so obvious.

I just know some people are going to skip the post and just quote the bible on faith and heaven.

I love how some people totally miss the point, even my fellow atheist/agnostics. Love the Christians who did get this.
The question is from the point of view of someone who thinks God is so obvious that you have to be an idiot not to believe.

Faith is an outgrowth of logic. Logic is used by man; but faith (trust) goes beyond the logic seen by man (who is as a false god (Gen. 3:5-6).

It's not obvious. And how do you know that faith alone would get you to heaven Does heaven even exist? Nobody has even proved that Christianity or heaven is real. But in my opinion, there is a GOD that was responsible for creation.

Haha I love this question, It totally makes you think. This might just set me off religion... Faith eh, faith can only take you so far, some day you want more! but since god is invisible what does that have to say about everything!

That is a great question. The Lord is actually the one that requires faith. And it is more than faith that gets you to heaven. You must know that Jesus was crucified for your sins and went to hell in your place. He was then rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. You must believe this with your heart and speak it. Then you will be guaranteed into heaven!

I'm not sure that I understand your question.
There is little or no evidence proving anything in christianity (like heaven or hell for instance), and no proof of god. All natural phenomenon- well, about 99.9% of them) have been explained.
So the premise is incorrect.
Believing in god is 100% faith based.

True! You don't need faith to believe in a creator...it's obvious.
However, you would need faith to believe in a God you cannot see. You have reason (faith) to believe in God because of the visible works of the creator.
