All of a sudden, I can't get any e-mail attachments that include video, etc. What can I do to get this working again?

go to windows update
download latest updates
REBOOT
run spyware scan
REBOOT
try again.
BE HAPPY I FIXED IT.

All I can suggest is that you either:
Update / re download the latest version of media player
http://www.micrsoft.com
Or ensure that your firewall is set to the correct limit. It may be that the video you have is of the wrong format for media player and therefore you may consider downloading:
VlC media player
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

You can't get or you can't play? Usually it's a codec problem. I had a problem where i was getting black screens and so on. Soon as i upgraded video cards the problem was gone.
