i just got asked out on a date by my guy friend who ive wanted to ask me out for ever! i cant believe it! now of course im going to go...but what do i do next? like what would be my next steps?

him and i have been friends forever! is there any reason he would pick now to want to go out with me? and hes not the typical guy.....hes not super hot or anything......hes just himself and hes great!

take it slow, try to relax and let things happen naturely. Also make sure you know the reasons why all of a sudden he is interested in you. Most of all....please dont be dissapointed if things dont work out, but if they do work out have fun and enjoy being with this guy....just make sure he is a gentleman and not just a hottie.

You have done all you have to do. Just go out with him, enjoy the evening, don't stress over it, relax and have a fun time.
I know it's trite, but just be yourself, that's who he asked out, in the first place.
If you are relaxed and happy, then he will be too, and you can both have a great time and go on from there.
