I plan on buying a Dell Inspiron 1501 notebook that already has the Windows Vista OS installed. I've come upon a few bad reviews about it, but I heard that the main reason why people are against the Vista OS is because it's incompatible with almost EVERYTHING! I'm not the type of person who uses their laptop for online games or to print out papers. Given that info should I still go ahead and purchase it anyway, or are there other things that the Windows Vista OS is incompatible with besides online games and printers?

What sucks the most about Vista for most people is that stuff is just is DIFFERENT.

and not always in a good way....... Like walking into your kitchen and having all your stuff rearranged.

personally i'd stick with xp until these issues with vista are sorted. why give yourself problems for no reason?
