"Pro-choice" is a false term. For one, they get really angry when the "pro-lifer's" convince a woman who was going to get an abortion to keep her baby. It was the woman's "choice" to keep the baby, so why would this upset them?

Really, "pro-choice" means pro-abortion. They hide behind the facade of the title "pro-choice," when really we all have a choice. No one can take that away from us. We have the choice to commit murder or not.

"Pro-Choicer's" just want the choice to kill a developing baby to be legal.

To not foist my views of morality on other people. While I don't believe women should get abortions except under a certain set of circumstances, I also don't think everybody is going to view my philosophy the same way. The information is out there, people don't live under rocks... they know what alternatives there are, therefore militant attempts to force some other view on them isn't going to work if they've set their mind on something.

Educate, put out the information and change what you can... foisting morality on others isn't the answer. Cultivate wisdom and altruism and more compassionate responses to those who feel they have no other choice. Unless you've walked a mile in their shoes and MIND then you can't imagine you understand what they're thinking or what they're going through... and to say otherwise is sheer arrogance.

Edit: and you can thumb me down until the cows come home because nobody wants to face the truth that nobody wants to care for anybody until it's an issue they feel they can control. People just want to manipulate and control... I don't see anybody voting to ensure that low-income people are given other alternatives and a way up, I don't see people taking care of (financially) these children you don't want aborted. I don't see anybody working or voting to take care of the psycho-social issues that bring someone to the threshold of thinking they need an abortion in the first place. If people were REALLY altruistic and compassionate and not just paying lip-service to the terms we wouldn't be this hip-deep in over-population, poverty, environmental disasters, etc. So thumb me down, you show your true colors when you do... you're just sticking your head in the sand and can't handle being told otherwise.

I am choosing anyone that can insure Federal $$ is spent correctly:
1. A safe protected environment for women to get abortions. From rape, abuse.
2. Help for those that do not want abortion, but find themselves pregnant. Help talking to parents, about the pregnancy.
3. NO back alley midnight unsafe unclean abortions happen anymore.
4. Doctors, (the whole clinic) are protected from violence.
5. Religions to stop the violence against people making a life changing decision, usually with little help, and who are scared. Perhaps religions could help the women - not hurt them.
6. Being a man - I am choosing to follow the consensus of women, as they are the final say in this issue, not other men. Men should not be involved in this issue at all. Women need to establish policy and end this issue.
7. For men that want the child against the woman's wishes, and tries to force his will against hers - this is a problem I can not address. I am against force - that I know.
8. I do not want the well off flying to other countries for procedures that women can not get here.
Fairness and honesty in the treatment of our citizens.
9. Women that entrap men - by using the DNA from condoms thrown away, later, should be treated as a crime against men. The couple maturely talked about life, used protection, and the man is trapped later by finding out she retrieved the DNA from the protection later unknown to him, and is stuck with child support for her actions. Men be aware of this.
Take precautions, if not in a strong honest relationship!
These are a few of my choices.

Although I would prefer that a woman choose to give birth, it is up to her. The important thing is that she have a choice. For too long (at least 3000 years), women have had no choices in all aspects of their lives. We were slaves to our fathers, husbands, whathaveyou. We had no choice whether to marry, to give birth, even to have sex. It is the 21st century, and we are equal with men. To deny us our right to choice is perpetuate centuries of oppression upon us.

I was nearly aborted. My mother decided to have me. I'm grateful for her decision, and the important thing is that she had the right to make the decision!

Pro-Choice means you believe that a woman should have the right to choose whether or not she's going to have unprotected sex (save for rape) and "accidently" get pregnant and choose to murder an innocent child....right??

You are choosing the best (or at least, least terrible) option for yourself and the embryo/fetus/child. You can choose from abortion, adoption, maternity home, or parenthood.

Please note that pro-choice does NOT equal pro-abortion... it is about the right to make decisions for yourself, instead of having other people make them for you.

You are choosing whether or not to allow a clump of cells inside your body to continue its growth, or to remove it.

The choice is all about a woman's control over her own body and her own destiny.

I believe it refers to abortion. Being pro-choice means you are think you should have a choice to have a baby or not. Pro-life means you think that the fetus is alive and it would be murder to not have the baby at any stage of development.

The choice in pro-choice refers to a female's right to control over her fertility and pregnancy.
