you can still get big jars in supermarkets - tescos have at least 3 difft sizes. i just eat it with a spoon straight from the jar...yum... and i have seen those little tubs too - some smaller shops sell them and sometimes in hotels u get it with the butter/jam/honey. oh so tasty, would always buy one on the way home from school - never enough - mind you, there never seems to be enough in a big jar either!!

Yum. I haven't thought about Nutella in years. I used to work in an upscale fruit and veggie market and they sold other gourmet items...I never had seen Nutella before (this was 1987) and a friend introduced me to it. We would eat it with croissants on our break. The best! And only 8,000 calories!

I remember Nutella but at my age, I did not know the price. My sister would regularly hide it so I could not get a look in. She would eat it with her fingers, chocolate smeared over her face and obviously smelling of chocolate, but deny vehemently that she had had any.

She did that with vinegar too - any vinegar, but particularly pickled onion vinegar. My mother could not work out why the onions would dry out until one day we came home to find my sister drinking it out of the jar!! Weird, or what!!!

You can still get it in Australia, although it costs a bit more than 5 pence. Get onto the Coles, Woolworths or David Jones sites, stipulate Sydney Australia in your search. into home shopping.

good luck

You can still buy nutella at the grocery stores and supermarkets here in Canada. I've even seen it at Walmart.

I get the big jars from Tesco and use a dessert-spoon. I have to stop now. I am salivating too much.

no. but love the fact that the jars can now be used as glasses when you've emptied them of nutella. much better than throwing them away or recycling them.

.....and a good excused to buy nutella x
