If the managers know then do nothing, if he is famous for it, he will stay exactly where he is with no chance of getting on in the company. And remember what goes around comes around, he will get his shortcomings soon. Just hang in there.
By the way, that is a very intrigueing photo you have put onto your profile. I wish you would show your face rather than hide it behind your sweater.

Call him out some time. During a meeting or something, confront him with all the lies he's told, ask him to explain why he's such a back stabber and a d*ck when a lot of people are around who are willing to back you up. He's just a bully, and bullies need to be bullied back every now and then.

Sounds like he feels threatened by you. Stand up to him, I bet that puts a stop to his behaviour! There was a similar woman at my work and I pulled her to one side and said whats this all about and she was nice as pie to my face! He sounds very insecure by the way he acts. Trouble is he thinks other people can't see that! He might even have some sort of personality disorder! God bless him! :o)

play the stress card, your employer has a duty of care to all staff not just the ones who are d*ckheads, ask for a stress risk assessment and if they fail to supply one in 5 working days or neglect to tackle the issues arisen from it you can make a monetary claim against them.
the threat of this alone will force your employers hand.

sounds to me like they are just as bad as him i dont understand how they dont take him to one side and tell him what he is doing wrong and because they wont say anything worse he will get because he knows he is getting away with it!
as for what you can do
if he starts on you pull him to one side not in front of anyone and tell him to stop etc and if he still carrys on
keep on at the managers
as its there job to do something about it as its making you uncomfortable and then tell them if they dont help you that you want to put in a Grievance to find out more about this go to website:~ http://www.acas.co.uk/index.aspx?articleid=913
this will help you alot as it has helped me :)
hope you get this sorted out
as something like this can be stressfull and makes you feel like you dont want to go into work

You're just the new girl. It is natural he'll feel threatened.
Managers won't want to say anything in case it shows disloyalty.
If you're good, cream will rise to the top.
Try not to feel disheartened in the meantime (easy to say I know).
Good luck.

A good old slap to the face, accompanied with an indignant yelp should do it.
Everyone will assume he has done something...again!

In a working environment I have always had a WHATEVER attitude. Just shine it all on because you are there to make money and not friends.

I have to assume because of your picture, you are a woman ?
If so, it is very easy to take care of. It's called "sexual harassment" and with one call to the right person and your problems are over.
