There is no pre-trib rapture|

No Pope taught it, and the "reformers" never heard of it|

It is an invention of 19th century Protestant fundamentalism|

The scenario is this in authentic prophecy - first of all there is the rise of modern technology and the break-down of morals (which has happened)|

Then we enter what students of prophecy call the "Minor Tribulation" (which is already begun - the ball is already rolling - notice that no one has been raptured)|

When that is completed (which is a purification of the Church and the world), then a great Christian revival will take place| All civil laws will be brought into conformity with the divine law, and the education of the young will be most Christian|

It will be a golden age of Christianity and prosperity|

But fallen man, not being able to stand prosperity for very long, will start to go off the rails and abuse the privileges| Things will become worse than ever|

That will bring about the reign of Antichrist, which is known as the "Major Tribulation|" It is the ultimate purification of the Church and the world which will be painful and terrible beyond compare| Antichrist will be a tyrant who will vastly exceed any other tyrant in history|

But he will be overthrown, and the millennial era of peace will ensue (which will not last 1000 years, since 1000 is simply a symbol for immensity, but will last for endless ages - perhaps millions of years)| Christ will not reign in body (as fundamentalists claim), but in the Eucharist| Then there is the final attack of Gog, which is the apocalypse of satan (Rev. Ch 20), when that is put down, after that Jesus comes back in body and glory to judge the living and the dead|

This is not very well known, but the Catholic Church has a tradition of prophecy, similar to how a tradition of prophecy existed in the Old Testament predicting the coming of the Messiah.

It is something that I have been studying for years - as it comes from a vast number of Blesseds, Venerables, saints, doctors and fathers of the Church, over many centuries, saying about the same thing|

Several books have been written on this by great scholars, and it is so surprising how what has been predicted in ancient Catholic prophecy is coming true| It is quite different from the prophecy kicking around in Evangelical or fundamentalist circles which is merely the interpretations of individual ministers|

Refer to "Trial Tribulation and Triumph" by Desmond Birch| He has studied this subject for 20 years, and has written a vast tome on the subject| Other books are Prophecy for Today, by Edward Connor and the coming chastisement by Yves Dupont|

Yes. The Rapture occurred in September of 1998, and a little more than two years later, Bush became the President of the United States.

I think most Christians have a false sense of this rapture thing.

It will be before.
