I used to grind my teeth as a child, and now I have sensitive teeth since the enamel is worn down. Yes, I now wear a mouth guard during the night, but I need to use a toothpaste to make my teeth less sensitive to food and drinks that are hot/cold.

I hate Sensodyne, because none of their flavors give me that refreshed, clean feeling of regular toothpastes. Are there any alternative brands with a better taste? Maybe one that has whitening as well?

My mom uses the Crest brand. I think it's called Crest Sensitivity? Came out a few years ago. She likes it. She says it's cheaper and taste better.

Sensodyne is the only one that worked for me. There is a Sensodyne mouthwash too that tastes better you could use after the regular toothpaste.

There are other brands. Have a good look around your supermarket shelves or try a drug store you don't usually go to to see if they stock something different. If it is that fresh feeling you are after, have you considered using a mouthwash after you brush?
