I figured it out . if anyone else is needing codes for a universal remote then try this. this really works. lol
Press the TV button. Press and hold the Code Search
button. When the light goes solid, press the "up"
channel button slowly until the channel changes.
Press the OK button. Done!

Magnavox is actually a Philips brand.
So, try the Philips codes, they will probably work.

Have you tried googling the remote? What I did was find the website for the remote and they had a whole list of codes for my TV and I just went down the list until I found the correct one. You hold the button down on the device until it flashes and then put in the code. If it is correct it will give off a series of flashes.
