Matt Kenseth is the most coolest driver ever i have 3 shirts of his and a hat but my dad has alot more stuff yeah you didnt need to no that but i thought id tell you anyway

Most answers are biased, I'm biased for Stewart, but instead I'll give a list of the best active drivers, in no particular order
Stewart, Johnson, Gordon, Kenseth, Harvick, Martin, Burton

There is a bunch of great Nascar Drivers. I t would be hard to say there is just one better than any other driver, some of the best are Buddy Baker, Richard Petty, David Pearson, Dale Earnhardt. Looking back there is many Greats. There is great drivers racing in the present day such as Johnson,Stewart,Martin,J.Gordon, just to name a few. I do not believe you can name the Greatest Driver.

Matt Kenseth and Tony Stewart are my drivers! I watched Matt's career unfold here at Slinger Speedway. :)

Kenseth is my favorite as well. Watch out for Harvick this year though.
Gordon and Junior can kiss my a**. I'm so sick of every announcer wooing over them and they haven't done squat for quite awhile now. Johnson is just an a**.

TONY STEWART!!!!! No brain-er. From open wheel to midget cars to dirt tracks to NASCAR. I believe if you gave him a cardboard box with wheels he will still have a chance to win because he will push to the limits every race. Example when he raced the INDY 500 finished 4th and then raced the coca-cola 600 finished 3rd in the same day!!! Lets see Gordon,Johnson,J.R. or any other driver do that.

throughout all of nascar's history, i think dale earnhardt sr. but if we're talking active drivers i think it's a toss up between kenseth and stewart and johnson.

Kenseth is very good, but I think Tony Stewart is the best. Unfortunately for him, I think he has the worst luck too.

Mark Martin has been qouted as being the best driver to ever wear a helmet other than Earnhardt Sr.
