My son is 3 years and 4 mos old and still isn't potty trained??
Can anyone give me any advice. My son still isn't potty trained. He refused to wear big boy underwear and throws a huge crying fit when I try to put them on him or ask him which ones he wants to wear(he has many different kinds he picked out) and he goes and gets his diapers himself. And/or yells for his diaper and wants only that.
We have tried pull ups, the cold sensitive ones..etc. and nothing seems to work. We give him stickers when he does use the potty to pee.
When he was 2 years old he used the potty for pee and poop for about 2 weeks and then reverted back to diapers. I just thought it was too soon to go then and so I didn't push him to use the potty. I figured he would go and use it when he was ready.

Now I am concerned that he is still in diapers at 3 years and 4 mos old. Oh and I am having another baby. I am due June 2nd and I really thought my son would be out of diapers by now.
any advice?????????????

i'm going through the same thing that you are and i found what works for me. i give my daughter a sticker each day that she does good and by the end of the week she is able to choose something simple that she wants like a piece of candy or day out to the park. your son might of gone back to his own routine to get attention from you since you are having another child soon and he doesn't want to feel neglected.

He may not be ready and believe me I do know how frusterating! My son wasn't trained until almost 4 years old we have tried everything. Now he is 5 and still wears a diaper at night (where as his baby sister doesn't) I think boys are just harder. One thing you may try is a "treat" like one m&m if he goes potty on the potty seat (I used mints) and it helped my son along.
Congrats on your new baby as well!

I had to teach my baby sister. I was her favorte girl. So when I went potty I took her with me. After we were done we did a potty dance that I made up. It might sound real weird but that worked for me.
