I have medications that didn't work out for me... I get migraines & depression, and they have tested me on certain drugs-that just didn't work right. Most the medications, I have bought with my own money (with insurance) and then, I have SAMPLE packs given to my by the doctor.

I have them stored up in my house because I can not bear to throw them away knowing that so MANY people can not afford to pay for prescriptions, yet I am pretty sure I can not advertise them for someone to take-- b/c they are prescription and I am not a doctor.... Is there any place that take donations of that sort? I have blood pressure medication, medication that treats depression, and medications that treat seizures... They are all still "good", as I am STILL in the process of finding the right combo. It sucks to just throw them away, I know people struggle to pay for these EXACT medications. Just curious, if anyone had a suggestion.

In Australia, we can take them back to the pharmacist where they have a program where it can be sent to third world countries etc. Ask your pharmacist.

I had a bunch of samples of an antidepressant that was super expensive (it was a new one). they didn't work out, and the doctor was very happy to take them back to give to someone else. You can give those back to the doctor as long as they are in their package. Also, I think you can maybe even give the other ones to some clinic (one of those public ones). I once was handed a huge bottle of Paxil at one of the public clinics here that had someone else's name scratched out and was filled by a pharmacy. Just check around before you throw them out! I'm thankful for the samples I get since mental illness meds can be so much money.

I totally know where you are coming from. When my Grandma passed away, we had a ton of her medicine, most of which people pay and arm and a leg for. But for your sake, you need to flush them down the toilet or someone could sue you if they took them. I would maybe talk to your doctor about giving back the samples and possibly the medicine for them to give samples to their patients who need it, but they may refuse because they can't be sure you didn't tamper with it.

you are going to be able to not be waiting to get a "type call" drug which you have been taking and might particularly could settle for a "accepted" selection drug from the insurance company. they are going to inform you that a accepted drug is the comparable as a type call drug, yet they don't seem to be fullyyt same! the type call drug might have lots extra risk-free practices against "component outcomes" than a accepted drug will. the type call drug might have one or 2 component impacts, while the accepted drug might have 5 or six component impacts. The call type drug might cope with 2 of the ailment's indicators, while the accepted drug might purely cope with the only ailment. the government will choose which drug you would be eligible to get carry of.
