I used to have a big problem with this, but after i took a picture of my best buddy( big Wally) all the ladies seem to think a lot more about me.
I sugest you set the pixel pixies to a lower image setting or go into the computer and revise the image setting to around 75%.
Oh and yes there is a Santa Clause, just ask Virginia.

IF you are only going to view the pics on your computer, or send them in email, then you can lower the resolution in the camera. However, if you MIGHT want to make enlargements of any of your photos, you should shoot them at the highest resolution that the camera offers.
I'm on a Mac, and I resize the photos in Photoshop, if necessary. You'll need Photoshop or some other image editor to resize the shots. I opened iPhoto and it created a thumbnail of a giant sized photo that I'd taken. When I clicked on the thumbnail, it brought up a larger view, but I still didn't need to scroll to see the whole image. But I didn't see a resize option in that program.
I hope this helps!

yes it makes a huge difference for what software you use. if you have windows you should use the photo wizard to download pictures. and you can zoom out of that picso it looks smaller or put that pic into microsoft word and click on the pic then you click on the bottom of pic where the black dot is and move your mouse up just do the same for the sides and the corners

YOu need to get a software program like Adobe Photo Shop to cut your resoultion down or cut it down in the camera. If you cut ti down in the camera is it that way forever.
Undestand a 2MP image fills a big screen HDTV screen or is 4 times bigger than your average computer screen.
A 4mp is twice that size
A 8m is four times that size.
The draw back is if you want to make prints.
A 2 MP is required for 4x6 or 5x7
If you cut to 1 MP you are cutting the quality to wallet size pictures.
1 mp, however will fill your screen at 1200 resolution.

If you take pictures just for web, then set low resolution on the camera. But if you take pictures for printing, I suggest you shoot with max resolution, and use software to resize them for web.

I have had the same problem! ok, you can go into (Paint) on your computer and go to (image) on your file bar at the top. Hit (stretch/skew) and just type in a smaller number for (horizontal) and (vertical)... and if it's still too big just repeat the steps! good luck
