My cat was exactly the same as a kitten. He would use all four feet with nails and teeth too. What I did to stop it was to yelp loudly 'ouch!', then immediately put him away from me and leave the vicinity. For instance, if we were on the couch and he bit me too hard or scratched me, I'd yelp, stand up immediately and leave the room. Wait at least 10 minutes before you start playing with him again, then try again. If he does it again, do the same thing. He wants to play with you, but needs to learn how to inhibit his bite or claws. Don't worry, he'll soon learn what caused you to stop playing with him. My cat now plays gently with me, but if he forgets himself, all I have to do is say 'gently' and he will turn his bite into a lick and retract his claws. Cats are way smarter than we give them credit for and I'm sure your cat will learn quickly. Good luck!

My boyfriend's cat does the same thing. He thinks biting or clawing me is a sign of love. Since he is full grow it was easier to just say ouch and he knew I was in pain, kittens sometimes don't get it. If you keep a small water gun with you just spray your kitten with that. The water won't hurt the kitten and they realize that, that action is a negitive thing.

Make a hissing noise and give them a sharp tap on the nose. Keep doing this, always making the hissing sound before any nose tap. After a while just making the hissing sound should make them stop with no tapping the nose. They will think the tap is coming and stop. Psychological Conditioning. Good Luck!!!

i used to read books about cats when i was a kid...and i read that if a cat bites you, to lightly tap it on the nose. cats HATE when you touch their nose, so without being violent it is a good way to let him know that what he's doing is not ok. if you continue to do this every time he bites you, he should get the message.
but he is still a kitten, so he might just grow out of it on his own.
good luck!!

Just slap him on the nose and say, "NO!" You don't have to hit him hard, just enough to get the message across that it's not okay to bite.
