I have three indoor cats that usually get along well. Now that the weather is warming up, I'm letting them outdoors for supervised play. One of the girls, whenever she goes outside, starts hissing and growling at the other two. She lets me pick her up, so the aggression is not directed at me at all, but it's unlike her to be so aggressive to the other two. Anyone have any ideas how I can get her to calm down? This didn't happen last year when I let them all outside.

i'm sure you have all your cats spade so they cant get preg, etc . the real question is it sounds like the beginning of a temper problem maybe she 's jealous of the other two playing and she ain't getting the fun, what to do is keep one of the others in and only allow two out at each time for say five mins try this and change over once maybe every ten mins put out fav biscuits or some thing they like like catnip in odd areas where they like to chill too and get in touch with me to see if there is progress thannks

maybe dicipline them. thats what i have to do. treat them like children and scold and pop them on the nose or rear end. if that does not help, put her in a travel cage for half an hour or so. she may get upset at u though.
