As for the Book of Mormon...
The Prophet Joseph Smith said in 1841, “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book” (History of the Church, 4:461).
I guess you would need to abide by the precepts of the Book of Mormon for a few years and and see how near to God you feel after for your answer.

I can't answer for the Koran but the Book of Mormon was written by ancient American Prophets that were descended from the Hebrews, the tribe of Joseph actually. They were written once and preserved until they were delivered to Joseph Smith and he was given the spiritual gift of translation from their original writings to the English we have today. It has not suffered the debates and translations of centuries of scholars as the Bible has. Peaces of the Bible were removed or changed by those translators thus leaving it less perfect than what it was. Joseph Smith said that he could have rendered a more perfect translation but that the King James Version was good enough for our purposes when read with the spirit of revelation. The Book of Mormon does not pretend to replace the Bible but rather is a companion to the Bible and supports the Bible in testifying of Christ and His work among mankind. Joseph Smith stated that the Book of Mormon was the most perfect book ever written and that a man could get closer to God by following its precepts than by any other book. That is because it does not have the errors that the Bible has gained over the centuries. When read together, they support and explain each other. Yes, the Bible testifies of the Book of Mormon if you know what to look for. Isaiah, Ezekiel and John in particular testify of the Book of Mormon. Likewise, the Book of Mormon testifies of the Bible.
I would encourage all the sceptics to truly read it and study it and find out for themselves what it is all about and not just rely on the prejudiced words of its critics.
I know it is the word of God and true as any book can be.

No there really isn't. You've simply been conditioned by your culture to assume that as Mormons and Muslims do.
Personally I find the Book of Mormon the most boring and poorly written attempt at mimicry of the King James imaginable, and I am most impressed the Angel Moroni (that name alone should have been a clue) gave Joe seer stones that would translate the Book of Mormon into English that had been out of date for 200 years by then. Hmmmmm. GuessGod didn't have a command of modern English in the 19th century. Odd that.
Personally I find the Koran and the Book of Mormon even more boring than reading all the conflicting "begats" in Jesus' two geneologies.

Becuase their writers knew that it was lies and they need to assert their confidence. The Book of Mormon can be easily disproven without simple questions. The native Americans a lost tribe of Israel? That can be disproven with archeological findings and DNA samples which prove no relation to any tribe of Native Americans to Israel. Joseph Smith was a polygamist and he encourage polygamy, yet the church turned away from this practice that their prophet whom they believe to be perfect preached. The Koran was written by a man who had sex with Aisha and many Muslims know this. It is written by a man who wanted to spread Arab hemegony and he iniated many wars were he killed many people. This is wrong but their believers refused to doubt. The Bible has many contradictions and is not perfect but is better than the other books.

It's called "tooting your own horn." Do you really think that the sacred book of any religion is going to claim that it is inferior to all others?
And yes, the bible has been translated many times, from Aramiac to Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English, for starters. And it has a few blatant errors in it.
But that's a holy book for you, ;-)

All of you people want to say that yours is the best.
What evidence do you have?
Witnesses to god creating the universe? Jesus coming back to life and floating away to heaven?
What evidence? Where is it? Eye witness account of the great flood?
Believing in something is NOT evidence.
I have personally witnessed David Copperfield make an automoblie disappear.
Does that make him a god or just a talented magician?

HA!
Its like comparing Jack and The Beanstalk, Cinderella, and the Three Pigs, and arguing that Cinderella has more evidence to prove it is correct.
All holy books are mythology, arguing one is more accurate than another is a waste of time.
