i know they are on the dd214,but i was wondering if there were any that was awarded to me since i have been out of the service. I know a few marines that have had some added.

You have to request to see your DD214. They will have to let you see it. On that document it will note just what awards you were issued, what schools and programs you attended. Every service man or woman, has a DD214. And its called the same thing in all branchs of service. If you have already been discharged,,,you should have a copy of your DD214 along with your discharge certificate.

Check with the VFW or the American Legion.
They will get the info for where you write for your free medals and citations.

Check your DD214 form. Should all be listed

If any awards were due you, you had to have been there to receive it, and the orders for giving your the awards.
