God is our creator and created EVERYTHING in the universe and more..
the real question is, why not?..

God is our Spiritual Father, we are His children. Sometimes we do things we shouldn't do and we who believe God is our Father may worry about the consequences of our actions like being punished by Him. But like any good human father and mother He loves us and understands our actions better than we do. Fearing God in my opinion means fearing losing His love. Of course it's impossible for God to stop loving us but we have the choice to accept or reject Him. It's called free will. May be fear of God will keep us from straying.

What would be the point in a supreme being even considering to make us afraid?
Nobody should fear what came out of another man's head, anyway!
