I see people selling avon on E-Bay as well.
Get Some stickers/decals made up and put them on your bumper on your vehicle.
Place a small 2-3 line advert in your local paper.
One I love is scan the side of say a hundred dollar note on the other side place an advert like " To save hundreds on health and wellness products call blah blah blah. You then print them off and leave them in banks, put them on cars, even in letter boxes money side up. Works great

Avon sells itself...so nothing about the products. What you need to determine is what will make you the BEST Avon representative...focus on that...and the orders will come in...
