Well you are still growing so thats gonna be really hard to tell. 5''5 is a good height for a dancer but u may not have stopped yet. If you reach 5'8 or over its quite unlikely you will be able to be a ballet dancer as when u dance on pointe u will be over 6 ft and need a very tall man to partner you! But this is a very good height for a dancer say who wants to dance on cruise ships or hotels or in musicals. As its almost always specified at auditions" 5'7 and over" So don t worry just yet. As long as you are active and healthy you are fine. Your body is still growing so don t deprive it of nutrients. Its still trying to do all the things it needs to do to help u grow and develop properly. Happy dancing and enjoy!!

That's not all that big - 5'5" is a good height, cause it's tall enough for long legs and a graceful look but short enough you'll still look right en pointe. I know there's a ton of pressure in ballet to be tiny, but at 13 your body is going to be changing some, and most of that will even out and tone up in the next couple of years. The best thing to do is keep dancing and eat right, to stay healthy & keep your body in shape. If you're really worried about toning up, walking or yoga is good & yoga also makes you even more flexible.

You are on the wright track. Keep on dancing and enjoy it.

You are still very young and your body will go through many changes, so do not worry about it. If you stick to your dance classes you will help your body develop in a manner that is suitable for dancing. (whether it is ballet, or any other kind).

A lot of models and actresses and dancers thought they where to ugly, or to fat, or to clumsy and so on in their teens, and never imagine they could do and achieve what they have. So worry not, just enjoy your dance and keep healthy for without health, not much is possible.

Happy pirouette doll!

I know it's your dream little star, but no dreams worth risking your health over.
Your still a young girl and the "fat" as you call it is only puppy fat
and i think dieting at such a young age is very dangerous.
Concentrate on your ballet and not so much of the height and weight issues, you can still make it as a dancer and dont let anybody tell you any different, just dont risk your health in your quest!
Good luck little star, you'll do good!
