If the class requires a 35mm camera ... 35mm refers to the film size, so you'll need to have a 35mm film camera, not digital.

If you really want to take the class, you'd better find out more specifics about the camera requirements before signing up or buying the wrong type of 35mm camera. There's a big difference between a 35mm SLR and a 35mm disposable.

If the class is about film developing, you might be able to get away cheap. Also check with friends or family, I'm sure there's someone with an old 35mm film camera that you could borrow.

NO. YOu'll have to buy or borrow a camera. See if they want an SLR or if a rangefinder will do. See if any relatives have a 35mm.

Go onto eBay, and buy a Pentax K1000. You can get one for cheap, and it's a 35mm SLR. They are built like tanks.
