Spanish rice!! (Sprinkled with tabasco or hot sauce) Black beans, too. Or add the black beans into the taco meat for a little twist.

Because we have so many options w/ our tacos, we never have side dishes. Our mainstays include: meat, beans, lettuce, tomato, homemade salsa, cheese, chips or corn tortillas warmed or fried, olives, onions (white and green)

I've always assumed that covered all the nutrition bases.... sometimes, if I have someone over, I'll serve corn w/ green chillis added or the canned Mexican corn, but not often.

I always enjoy a nice green salad. If you don't like that, I also enjoy a good plate of nachos. Personally, I always have some apple sauce with my tacos. I like the sweet, cold taste of the apple sauce with the hot, spicy taste of the tacos. Good Luck!!!
