i just had my 2nd child about a year ago and i am trying to lose weight, i am 5'9 and i am weighing in about 181 how much water should i be drinking a day? and also how do i know if i am drinking enough, i mean i hear that drinking water is helpful in weightloss, will just drinking the amount of water everyday and eating healthier alone help lose weight?

You need to drink at least 64 oz a day to replenish your body. It not only helps to flush out fat but toxins as well. Start using morton lite salt, less sodium= less water retention as well.

8oz a day?????? Are you kidding? 6 to 8 8oz glasses a day is what the experts say. Besides eating right, drinking water in place of other high calorie drinks will help. If you figure 1 12 oz soda is about 150 calories, and you replace 6 of them with water, you've just saved 900 calories. But no diet will work without exercise. You have to have more going out than coming in. There is no trick to it. Eat right and exercise.
