Well I post about this often but here goes:

Ebay is a good source to find cars but do not buy a car over the internet if you do not personally go inspect the vehicle for rust or have someone that you trust look at it. When you end up actually going out and shopping for a vintage mustang, either do your homework or have someone with you who knows mustangs. There are a few key areas that you must pay attention to, the number one thing that you are looking for is rust. Areas prone to rust on 64 1/2--68's include: cowl (this is one of the most prone areas), wheel wells, floors (look under the carpet AND under the car especially at the passenger side floor where the passengers feet would be), frame rails, trunk, bottoms of doors. If you check these areas and there is no more than surface rust then you are in good shape. The MAJOR time and $ that will be put into the car will be rust repair/sheet metal replacement if you buy a rusty car. If your husband can weld then sheetmetal repairs might not be such a concern but you still don't want to pick up a car that has frame rails that are rotting out. Good luck with your search

Go here: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/fusionbb.php?
and scroll down to the "cars for sale" section (in grey) and then you can check 64 1/2-66's and 67-68's. When you click on an add, look to the left under the user name, they should have their location so hopefully you can find some in your area to look at. Also, search around the site on the "general discussion" section, this is a priceless source for vintage mustangs

Good luck
