Put some Prep H (teeny weenie bit) onto your tattoo and it will stop itching.

Regardless of the itching wait for the perm!!! 3 to 4 weeks is the average healing time for any tattoo. Even if the top skin has finished flaking under the skin is still repairing itself and the chemicals soaking into your skin could damage that process.

how your tattoo will look over time is mostly how you take care of it in the first few important weeks.

I would wait until your tat is completely healed and has stopped itching before perming. The chemicals in perming solution can be on the harsh side and would probably only irritate your neck even more.

Not that I can have any hairstyle, I would most likely wait until my tat was all healed up before using any chemicals in the immediate area. It could cause a serious irritation. Talk about a pain in the neck........

Just because chemicals from the perm can irritate the skin, I suggest you wait a little longer.

wait at least 3 weeks...

the chemicals in the perm could bleach out the tattoo

i would avoid getting any chemicals on it until it is completely healed. you have no ideas how that stuff will affect your tattoo or you skin which is an open wound right now. i would wait until two weeks after the scab has come off.
