Ive been upset lately because my boyfriend told me that we should be friends... he still call me and say he would come see me but i kno life is not gon be the same... the only reason why we split was because his mom and dad think that im 2 young 4 him... now we have been together 4 this long {since nov. 2005} and now its such big deal {{they never met me but kno of me}} now wen im in school it be eatin me up but i try 2 smile a lot & not worry 2much bout it {{he graduated last year}} my bestfriend be tellin him how upset i be but all he tells me is its not his choice and dont be angry wit him... but i cant help it wen we talk on the phone now he can tell that i be sad but i try my best 2 be cool about it wen i talk 2 him {{i hate 2 talk about it again it could turn out worse}} its not his fault but i seem 2 be blamin him inside!! please help me out!

okay well, if he graduated last year then he is old enough to make his OWN decisions. so, i doubt that it's because his mommy and daddy told him to. And how could you have dated a guy for over a year and never met his parents. I went out with a guy for the first time like 2 weeks ago and i know almost his entire family!! But how old are you? No offense but your grammar is horrible! so, just wondering. But i would just move on, that his way of saying, "sweetie it's just not working" he's probably in college now having a good time....and dating someone in high school doesnt seem cool anymore....but thats just my opinion. He has to care because he still calls you, Thats good!!!

Have you talked to your parents about this situation?
It seems like his parents are looking out for the best interest of him. You sound like you started to really like or maybe love this guy.
But, believe me...it will be hard to carry on a relationship with someone and their parents don't approve you all being together. And seems to listen to his parents. So maybe for now, you should back off and try to move on with your life.
Try doing some hobbies, hanging out with friends - this will keep you busy and your mind off of him.
You never know what the future holds.

My 5 3 hundred and sixty 5 days cousin can win a debate with that loser, she surely has the audacity to assert that emo would be greater than punk and steel. She tried to earnings herself to Jesus, how stupid can she be!!! the way she stubborn lots for sure says that she has no valid component to make. The emo trend WILL die and he or she's in basic terms mad because of the fact she wasted her college instructions money on high priced crappy clothing. EDIT: as quickly as she turns 18, she recover from her pretend teenager angst and get a job and make contributions to society particularly of ranting on Youtube.

You sound way too young to be worried about this stuff. Believe me when I say that you'll have plenty of time to be sad about relationships in your life......just take 10 deep breaths.

i smile when i'm nervous too. its just how you cope with emotions that you arn't expecting or don't know how to deal with. like if someone tells you my sister died...if you don't know them and they start crying and you smile to give them reassurance it'll most likely be taken the wrong way but you're doing it bc you're in an awkward position. i would say apolozige and say i'm just really nervous.
