Pop is horrible. There is nothing good in it. Therefore the fat you burn on a workout, soda will put it back on. Actually soda is the worst thing a person can drink.

Colas, Mountain Dew, and a few other sodas contain caffeine. After a workout, you need to hydrate yourself--and anything that contains caffeine (including iced tea) will DEhydrate you! The same is true of alcohol (though I'm sure you know this)--drinking a beer when hot, sweaty, etc. will DEhydrate you.

I know that an ice cold soda or beer tastes good after exercise, but they will do harm to you. First off, you shouldn't even drink anything really cold after a workout--room temperature, or the temperature of an outdoor water fountain should be as cold as it gets after exercise.

Soda, because of its carbonation, is bad for the bones--it can actually make you lose calcium. Check it out--it's true.

Soda Pop is a triple threat. The sugar, the caffeine and the worst of all, carbonation. Carbonation blocks oxygenation of the blood. The more soda pop you drink the more you poison your body with these three ingredients.

soda has a lot of calories, so if you drink a regular one, all the calories you burned off while exercising will be replaced and then some by the soda. even waiting 30 minutes will replace the calories you burned off. drink water or something else no calorie.

plain and simple absolutely not, in fact, the caffeine can actually assist your body to give it a boost beforehand or afterword, however, it also comes with a crash afterword, where it takes more each time to get you back up and going, and it can also cause various problems in excess, and as opposed to good nutrition.
