In Taegu, there are also numerous Ginseng stores located throughout the city. One big area in Taegu is named
Yok-Yung-She - translates to something like Herbal Medicine Market.
If you want to purchase the very best (and the most expensive, along with the most prestige) brand Ginseng, then purchase the brand name
Choong-Kwan-Jahng
This is the oldest brand in Korea, been around since the 1890's.

I buy it at the gas station down the street comes in little vials you drink, but if you want the plants you have to go to a health food store very expensive they sell it by the ounce

if you want to buy ginseng and ginseng products in korea the BEST place to go is at Namdaemun market in seoul. (ë¨ë문 ìì¥) there are several ginseng shops with brilliant displays of preserved ginseng and other herbs in golden jars right outside the shops. they also sell dried herbs and herbal products, just looking at it is a pleasure! anyway, look for it!
