I'm currently a sprinter in college and wanted to know any lower body workouts that you know have increased your speed.

LUNGES!!! any machine that you have at college such as a leg press is also benificial.
Do heavy weight at a low rep rate.
Also walking lunges will be great!
There are many techniques but do what works for you. fast slow whatever some peopel like to go down slow and EXPLODE up!

the best lower body workout that helped me in High School for track was calf raises, squats and do alot of abs cause yea its not your lower body but that is where most people get cramps but do high reps with low weigth cause you want to tone your legs and mid section not bulk them up cause that just adds weight that you dont need if your a sprinter. Also wear nike track shoes with metal spikes.
