everytime i try to open up my microsoft word it asks for a license key number, i've never used it and i have no idea what it wants and i don't have a key number. does anyone know where i can get one?

You will have to buy a license key.

Before you do try OpenOffice, this award winning office suite is free and is compatible with MS and other office suites.

At the below link you'll find a page with a program that's download-able called "Keyfinder". Run that, and it should show you the key for your Word program. Good luck.

If you have the install disk, its on the front.
usually like xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
