Wow, what some people don't know. Actually, your hair on average grows anywhere from 1/4" to 1/2" a month. If your hair is at your shoulders and you want it in the middle of your back, it will probably take 2 yrs to grow. However, this depends on your hair growth, how often you get cut, and how much damage you do it. Start taking some vitamins, prenatal does wonders and when you trim your hair (every 6-8 wks) just cut the ends! I also suggest eathing healthier and getting scalp massages. This will increase the blood flow to your scalp and promote hair growth. Hope it helps.

Well, I'm sure you've heard this a thousand times, but hair grows at an average of 1/2 inch a month- sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. I can't tell you exactly how long it'll take because I don't know exactly how long you want your hair, but do the math to find out how long it should take to get to where you want it. Hope this helps :)

It depends on the person, and on what you eat, health food stores all have a hair formula. My friends wife is a hula dancer (with great hair) and she said to cut your ends a half inch every full moon, the girls I've recomended this to say it worked. To answer your question last time my hair was that short it took a few months to reach the middle of my back (and I'm an old man).

Well it takes 1 year to grow your hair 6 inches so it sort of depends on how long your hair is already.

As someone else has already said, hair grows at about 1/2 inch per month. The chart in the link below might be a good reference point for you.

If it's healthy, it should grow about a half inch every month. Then you need to keep the ends trimmed so it doesn't split and break. If it's to your shoulders now, I'm guessing it will probably be there by the end of the year

MY hair, it's taken about 5 1/2 years of trying, but I'm finally there. YOUR hair.........dunno. Depends on how easily it breaks, how often you trim it, how easily frustrated you become (since this often leads to more drastic trimming ;-) ) It may also depend on other factors, including whether you get your hair layered in different styles, whether you color or hilight it in a way that bleaches your hair and leads to more breakage........etc.
When you're trying to grow out your hair, you are bound to be advised by someone somewhere to take vitamin or mineral supplements to promote hair growth...so below I included a link to an article that presents a balanced view of this alternative.

That depends on your hair. But a good way to help your hair grow is to cut the ends of it every two weeks, that way you get all of the dead ends out of the way to make room for more hair. Everybody has hair that grows differently, so it really depends on your hair type.
